Interview with RCR Wireless News
This last week was Oracle Open World 2010.
I made several predictions here and they all came true. Hurd made an appearance, E20 in a box is ExaLogic (though it does much more than that). Oracle ECM evangelists were promoting the scalability and performance (PDF) of the new 11g infrastructure in their sessions and at their demo grounds, and while attendees were looking for rubber-meeting-the-road solutions, partners like us here at Fishbowl Solutions were stepping up and talking about solutions.
All in all it was a great show.
But ECM mobility was one of the clear front-runner themes that emerged. Maybe it was because there were so many early adopters present at the show, but the ability to deliver relevant content on the ubiquitous mobile platforms was an oft-stated request. ECM Mobility was my best attended session (slides here – mobile slides linked from here).
